The Art of Instagram

This live online workshop to explores Instagram's creative side: covering photos, video, graphics and storytelling.


Everything you need to know about getting the frontend of your feed just right. 

This Part 2 module is bursting with tips, tools and insights to help small brands utilise the creative 'art' side of Instagram to maximise their brand awareness, engagement and sales revenue. 

It builds on Part 1 which works through the 'science' behind Instagram (marketing principles, content strategy, calendar planning and much more). 

We will cover:

  • Smartphone photography ~ setting up a home shoot, product photo ideas 

  • Smartphone video ~ storyboarding, creating short videos, editing

  • Graphics ~ creating professional looking graphics 

  • Becoming a storyteller ~ finding your voice 

Who is this module for?
This session has been created for small business owners that are starting out on Instagram or are currently managing their own Instagram accounts and need to improve their visual and written content.


Comes with a free e-booklet. The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours, depending on the number of questions. Follow up 1:2:1 sessions can be arranged afterwards by appointment. 


Sarah Gilbert

Sarah completed a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing before working in London marketing agencies for nearly a decade. She then retrained to be a teacher and enjoyed 5 years in education before setting up her own small business, Box of Smiles, a personalised gift box service. Her need for a community to connect, learn and support was one of the drivers behind the concept of The Creative Duck, where Sarah is a co-founder. 


Sarah now combines her marketing and teaching expertise to provide social media and marketing workshops, as well as supporting brands with on-going and project-based assignments.
