Inspired by and developed from the iconic Korean Moon Jar, this is a cute small version, partially glazed in Persian Blue and white glazes.
The Jar has beensmoke fired – accentuating the crackle glazes and giving smoky tones to the naked ceramic surfaces of the Jar.
The Jar has been hand built, using a coiling technique and is made from a smooth white earthenware clay. It has an elongated stem neck approx. 1cm in height.
Approx 9cm in diameter.
Please note the Jar has not been glazed internally and is therefore not waterproof.
The Jar will be wrapped in tissue paper and then ‘double boxed”, first in a recycled cardboard box and then placed inside an additional box with suitable packaging.
