This is a live 90 minute online workshop designed for small business owners who are responsible for creating content for their social media, website or marketing.


With the current restrictions in place, content is everything. In the absence of real world interaction, content is who you are.


This course will help you move past the feeling of overwhelm to get more confidence and clarity in what to do with your content. We’ll be looking at how content has changed during the pandemic, based on the most current research.

You’ll come away with an understanding of how content fits in the ‘new normal’ and what you can think about and do today to move your content closer to where it needs to be.


We’ll cover:

  • What content can do for your business in the ‘new normal’

  • Why human connection matters more than ever – and how to create it

  • What content your customers are craving right now

  • The importance of creating a core content strategy to stay focused during the constant changes

  • What you need to do today to create content that connects in uncertain times


Who is this masterclass for?

This class is for anyone who creates content for their business – from website content to LinkedIn posts or articles, emails, newsletters, blogs, tweets, podcasts, videos, Facebook posts or Instagram captions. The principles of good content apply to any platform.

The class will help you understand how content has changed this year and what you can do to feel less overwhelmed and more in control of how your content connects.

You’ll also receive a free workbook to help you plan and prioritise your content. The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Follow up 1:2:1 sessions can be arranged afterwards by appointment.

Sarah Gilbert

Sarah completed a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing before working in London marketing agencies for nearly a decade. She then retrained to be a teacher and enjoyed 5 years in education before setting up her own small business, Box of Smiles, a personalised gift box service. Her need for a community to connect, learn and support was one of the drivers behind the concept of The Creative Duck, where Sarah is a co-founder. 


Sarah now combines her marketing and teaching expertise to provide social media and marketing workshops, as well as supporting brands with on-going and project-based assignments.
